Our client, a leading power generation company, is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing engineering team in Houston.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale power plant projects including combined cycle gas turbines, steam systems, and balance of plant equipment. You will be responsible for leading mechanical design packages from concept through to detailed engineering, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (PE license preferred) • 8+ years of experience in power generation or heavy industrial design • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software • Strong knowledge of ASME codes and standards • Experience with rotating equipment, pressure vessels, and piping systems • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Must be authorized to work in the United States
