Project Manager - Mechanical

Aevo Talent has been retained by a prominent renewable energy developer to find a Project Manager with a mechanical engineering background for their San Diego office.

You will manage the engineering and construction phases of utility-scale solar and battery storage projects across the western United States. This role requires strong technical knowledge combined with excellent project management capabilities to deliver projects on time and within budget.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; PMP certification preferred • 6+ years of project management experience in energy or infrastructure • Understanding of mechanical systems in power generation facilities • Experience managing EPC contractors and engineering consultants • Proficiency in project scheduling, cost control, and risk management • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills • Knowledge of renewable energy technologies is advantageous • Ability to travel to project sites as required (up to 30%)
