Field Service Engineer
Job Description
Our client, a global industrial equipment manufacturer, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide technical support and maintenance services to customers across the United States.
This travel-based role involves installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy industrial equipment at customer sites. You will serve as the face of the company, building relationships with clients and ensuring their equipment operates at peak performance.
The company provides comprehensive training on their equipment, a company vehicle, and covers all travel expenses. Home base location is flexible within the continental US.
Requirements
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field • 3+ years of hands-on experience with industrial machinery • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems • Excellent customer service and communication skills • Valid driver's license with clean driving record • Willingness to travel extensively (70-80%) • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments
